Grade Configuration:  BK-4 (plus preschool)
Student Population:    580 (plus preschool)
Student Day:  

  • 8:25 a.m. to 3:37 p.m. (grades 1-4 Regular School Day)

  • 8:25 a.m. to 12:07 p.m. (grades 1-4 Half Day)

  • 8:25 - 11:34  (morning kindergarten)

  • 12:28 - 3:37 (afternoon kindergarten)

KINDERGARTEN AND BEGINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

Registration for the 2012/2013 school year will begin on March 5th  in the Orchard Primary office between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.   Your child must be 5 years old on or before December 1st 2012 to enroll in either Kindergarten or Begindergarten for the 2012/2013 school year.  Please call 798-7019 if you have any questions during registration hours.

 

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

Please print and complete the Registration Form. This form is to be returned to the Orchard Primary Office  when registering, along with the following documents: Original birth certificate, Social Security Number, Immunization Record, and Proof of Residency (i.e. tax or utility bill).  Registrations will not be accepted without these documents - please have them ready when you arrive at our office.

 

WHEN REGISTERING YOU WILL ALSO:

1. Make an appointment for vision/hearing screenings

2.  Make an appointment for kindergarten readiness screening

3.  Sign up for bus transportation

 

PRESCHOOL INFORMATION

Preschool Registration forms are available in the Orchard Primary office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.  Information regarding Preschool may be found at this web site under the Preschool tab on the left.

 

IMMUNIZATIONS

In order for your children to enter school in the fall, they must have received their required immunizations.  If you have not yet begun this process, we urge you to do so now as it takes a period of time to complete.  Almost every child will most likely require a booster, in addition to a second mumps, measles, and Rubella vaccination (MMR)The Lapeer County Health Department, at 810-667-0391, can answer your specific immunization questions, or contact your physician's office.
