Almont Student Enrichment Department

Programs Offered

The purpose of the Student Enrichment Department is to provide programs for school age children that are both interesting and unique to the area.   Programs for toddlers and preschoolers to attend together with a parent are popular throughout the school year.  School age children enjoy  workshops in second languages, drawing, dance, drama babysitter training, and much more.  Saturday sports programs are always a big hit!  These noncompetitive programs build skills while teaching sportsmanship in a healthy and drug-free environment.  Flag football, pom pon team, floor hockey, basketball, indoor soccer, volleyball, wrestling, and tennis are enjoyed throughout the school year and into the summer months.

Summer Enrichment programs continue through June and August.  A special program offered is back-to-school readiness for preschool through third grade students.  Instructed by our primary staff, children come to school for 2 weeks in August for two hours each day to begin the routines they will soon share in their first weeks of school.

We always welcome suggestions for programs and enthusiastic instructors.  If you would like to teach a class please feel free to give us a call at 810-673-9165.

All families of our community and the surrounding area are invited to participate in the programs offered.

ATC Embroidery is a proud sponsor of the Student Enrichment programs.
